Ugly food with great taste

Has anyone ever cooked or baked something that when it came out of the oven, stove, etc you did a double take? Wow! That's just gross looking! Then you actually taste it and go oh wow, that actually does taste pretty darn good!


I did that tonight. I was so excited to come home and just try and make things really amazing in the cookie department. I obviously tried too much at once...yes let's say that. By default this is my fault.


I will leave you with a teaser of my hideous creation, but will post the recipe and more pictures soon.
